Lee Purcell left a message on May 13, 2022:
Barb, our family members scattered around the Midwest and I were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. Both you and he as Griffithites were intertwined with our family in the "good old days" -- you as a grade school classmate, and Jim and his family as part of Dads's (Dr. Richard Purcell) extended medical practice family. My teaching duties kept me from attending today's services but be assured of continuing prayers for Jim, you, and your entire family. No one is on this journey alone for "whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end, Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living." Peace!
