Such a fine man who did so many good things for the City of Crown Point. He and his wife always greeted us with smiles and friendly conversation on their walks in town from "Birdland". As Mayor, he always listened to people's concerns and was open if you wished to speak to him. He brought needed repairs and development to the growing city.

catherine walberg left a message on April 10, 2020:
If a man can be judged by his children, then this man was surely exceptional. I had the pleasure of being on a team promoted, run, and sponsored by his son, Paul. A thankless job, attempting to find sponsorship, stay fit, and heard a strong, competitive group of women cyclists with minds of their own, Paul managed to lead us to success after success and at the same time promoting community and camaraderie. Our hearts go out to you, Paul, and to your family at the passing of your father and dear one. You clearly exemplified all he was. On behalf of myself, and, many a team member in the world of cycling, I thank you and the your father for the inspiration he clearly was. Catherine Walberg
