IRIS JUNE LUEBCKE, age 84 of Crown Point, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016.
She is survived by husband of 64 years: Lester “Les”; four children: Valerie (Ray) Giacomin, Randall (Wendy) Luebcke, Douglas (Robin) Luebcke, Lisa (Joe) Riffle; ten grandchildren: Jason (Jen) Zona, Leslee Wiater, Brian Giacomin, Stephanie (Roger) Hodge, Joshua (Mandy) Luebcke, Matthew Luebcke, Michael Luebcke, Emma, Stella, and Ava Riffle; eight great-grandchildren; sister: Gail (Gilbert) Stiener; son-in-law, David Zona; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two daughters, Luann Luebcke and Pamela Zona; parents: Charles and Lola Aylesworth.
June was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was a past member of the Trinity League. She was a wonderful homemaker, co-owner of Les Luebcke’s Roadside Market, and was 5 year employee of County Extension Service. June was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr., Crown Point (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Directly at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 250 S. Indiana Ave, with Rev. Stephen Henderson and Rev. David Kipp officiating. There will be ½ hour visitation prior to funeral service at church. At rest, Maplewood Memorial Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
