HILDA EMMA LUEDTKE age 89 of Crown Point passed away Sunday January 2 2011. She is survived by 4 children: Linda (Dr. John) Gilpin of Wabash IN Joyce (late Charles) Richter of Silver Lake IN Kenneth (Sandra) Luedtke of West Lafayette IN and Glen (Deborah) Luedtke of Lafayette IN 16 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren sister: Lydia (late Andrew) Markancek of Crown Point. Preceded in death by husband: Howard of 55 years. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gary and a member of The Merrillville Optimist Club. She was a graduate of Horace Mann High School class of 1939. Friends and Family may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Wednesday January 5 2011 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held Thursday January 6 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Pruzin Brothers chapel with Rev. Richard Boshoven officiating. At rest Ridgelawn Cemetery Gary. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimers Association or the American Cancer Society.

My life has been so greatly impacted by my Aunt Hilda and her death is also such a great impact. Aunt Hilda will be missed in so many ways. She was a wonderful person and great friend to my mom Lydia. Aunt Hilda touched the lives of so many people through her entire life. There has never been such a tender person as my Aunt Hilda. God is so fortunate to have such a tender lady returning home.
