Bonnie and Family - I am so sorry to hear of your losses in the past few years. I have very fond memories of seeing the Talaga house being built across the pond and having a girl my age move into it. Your parents were always very good to me - it has been a pleasure to know you and your family.

We purchased our home from Mr and Mrs Talaga. Helen sold the home. She was honest charming funny and it was clear that she loved this house and her family. The family should feel free to contact me if they want to tour the house again. I work from my home (when not with appointments) and can be reached by calling (219) 980-8277. To Mrs Talagas family. Many miles many years and many memories bring us all where we are today. Some of those memories when we think about them realize how important they were in shaping who we are today. Mrs Talaga was one of those individuals who during that time felt it was their job to assure that all of us were reared with our parents and community social standards. We grew up with many Parents who taught us when our real parents were not there to tell us right from wrong. I am so sorry to see that generation departing and will remember Mrs Talaga as one of those people. Please find peace that she lived a life well spent and that her life made a difference to many.
