HELEN MARIE VUKOBRATIC (nee FADIGA), age 94 of Crown Point; formerly of Munster and Gary, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Rose Ann (Tom) Feeney; six grandsons: Tom, Tim (Emma), Michael (Lynne), and Jim (Jennifer) Feeney, Dr. Mark (Marie), and Nick (Kelli) Johns; 11 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Patricia Johns. She is preceded in death by her husband Emery; son Emery Johns; and brother Emil Fadiga. Mrs. Vukobratic was a former member of St. Thomas More and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Churches and had mostly recently attended masses at St. Anthony Home Chapel while she was a resident at St. Anthony Home. She was a graduate of Emerson High School, enjoyed sewing, cooking, and being with her family. A memorial mass will be held at St. Anthony Home Chapel, 203 Franciscan Dr., Crown Point, IN on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Loncar officiating. There will be one half-hour of visitation at the chapel prior to services. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. Memorials in her name are preferred to Missionaries of Charity, St. Vincent de Paul, Sharing Meadows, or the Salvation Army.
