Sandy Johnson left a message on May 23, 2023:
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to all those who are mourning the loss of Grace. I had the pleasure of having Grace in school for four years. She was so excited to find out that she had my daughter as her 5th grade teacher and always wanted her to come visit. We did make that happen and Grace enjoyed every minute. Grace's presence brightened our halls and classes. She had one of the best smiles. I loved when she would come in and talk about her dog or share a story of her cruise or trips. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, warmth, and genuine care for others. May you find comfort in the memories you all shared with her. May she rest in eternal peace.

??? So many prayers to the Campbells as they learn to navigate this life without their beautiful Grace. Anytime she’d see me outside of school she’d say squinting, “Mrs. Brady is that you?” She taught me so much my first year of teaching. I remember our back to school night she sat in the front row and asked me so many questions I didn’t know the answer to. I knew then that we would have one heck of a year. I quickly made her my teacher’s helper knowing she’d thrive in that position. She loved every bit of it. I remember when she got her dog Reno. He was her everything! She talked about him all the time! When she moved on to the high school she happened to have my mom so I was able to stay in touch. I was able to surprise her and eat lunch with her. She invited me to her graduation and gave us a tour of her house. She was so thrilled that we came. My favorite time to see her was at Halloween. She was always dressed up handing out candy at her house. She would get excited when I’d bring my kids to trick or treat at her house. She had a memorable laugh and infectious smile. I am so glad I knew her. ❤️

Grace! What a sweet and amazing soul. She was a student that I was lucky enough to get to work with at Meadowlawn. My brother, Doug Richardson works in the IT department at Twin Lakes High School. He would pass Grace in the hallway and Grace would say, “Tell Ms. Varda that I said hi.” He always did and it always made my heart happy! Grace ALWAYS made my heart happy! ALWAYS! ♥️

Gregg Nydegger left a message on May 22, 2023:
I enjoyed my nearly daily playful banter with Grace as she’d walk through the Commons each morning upon entering Twin Lakes High School. “Mr. Nydegger!” she’d blurt out when I’d say something silly, which was pretty often. She’d sometimes stand by the Cafeteria doorway with me and talk to Ethan Clingman, who’d remind her, “Don’t be late to class!” I’ll miss Grace’s smile.
Mary Arzola left a message on May 22, 2023:
So sorry for your loss.
Betsy Clingman left a message on May 22, 2023:
Grace was best friends with Ethan, my older brother. She was a part of my family. When she worked at the beach, she would always stop by wherever I was working and talk to me. I remember she would come over to hang out and scold Ethan for eating too fast. I think she was the only person he would listen to :) She would always say "You goober!" when one of us was being silly or making jokes. I have a lot of memories with Grace. Rest in peace to my favorite goober. You will be dearly, dearly missed.

Kobe was her supervisor at Indiana beach. She would always tell me he was being mean could I have a talk with him. A couple days later she came up to me and said thank you he's being nice to me. I loved seeing her work at IB. She was missed when she left. I enjoyed our countless talks we would have while she was working. Sending prayers to her family. We miss you Grace
Maggie Oliver left a message on May 21, 2023:
Grace was a lovely light in the world and I’m so glad that I had to chance to grow up with her! As she was the neighbor to my grandparents, I was there almost every weekend and always hung out with her and her sisters. As we both grew up, I stopped going to my grandparents as often, but Grace always made it a point to stop at my locker, talk to me, make sure my grandparents are all good, and ask when the next time I would visit. She was a lovely soul who will be missed very much. I am so blessed to have spent my childhood with her and I will forever cherish the memories I have of going to my grandparents for the weekend only to spend most of my time with the Campbells ♥️
