April Gavin left a message on April 18, 2011:
I remember when my dad, John Gavin Jr. brought us to Indiana to meet my new grandparents, and as any 6 year old, I had no expectations. This is when my perception of what a family is, was established. First, the birth of my baby sister, Courtney, then once again, little Shannon. Francine taught us proper etiquette and mannerism. She was classy and confident, an ideal role model for any growing young lady. I am now a mother and will do my best to carry on these traits to my young lady, Avery Gavin, whom is now 7 years old. Thank you grandma for impacting us in this positive way, so long will forever be remembered.
