FRANCES “FRANNIE” KRUTZ, age 76 of Merrillville, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015. She is survived by her five children: Deborah Fullgraf, Michael (Elizabeth) Krutz, Stephen (Karen) Krutz, Mark (Marissa) Krutz, Christopher (Valerie) Krutz; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Patricia (Charles) Brown; brother Daniel (Frances) Miernicki; and her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Edward Krutz, Sr.; daughter Michelle Krutz; and son Edward Krutz, Jr. Frannie was a waitress at Twelve Islands Restaurant in Crown Point for over 30 years. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren and most especially attending their games and activities. Fran had many special friends that she made over the years. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Pat Kalich officiating. Visiting hours for family and friends will continue after the service until 8:00 P.M. at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville). Cremation will follow the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Frances may be given to the family so they can distribute to various charities.
