Eugene Prybylla, age 87, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Aperion Care Arbors in Michigan City, IN. He was born November 25, 1933 in Long Prairie MN to John and Theresa (Muenzuber) Prybylla who preceded him in death. Eugene was married on November 2, 1957 in Michigan City to Phyllis Birginske for 40 years before her passing.

Eugene is survived by his children: David (Rhonda) Prybylla, Dale (Chris) Prybylla and Debbie (Terri) Prybylla; grandchildren: Aaron (Sara), Lance (Rebecca) and Tyler (Shannon); great-grandchildren: Paige, Alexi, Zach, Naomi and Warren; brother: Kenny (Raejean) Prybylla. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Dennis, Marvin and Richard.

Eugene proudly served his country in the U. S Army and was a member and usher at St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was retired from Weil-McLain after 40 years of service.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 4 to 7 PM at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, IN 46360 and on Wednesday, February 3 from 10:30 AM until time of service.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Reshan of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.

Those in attendance will be required to wear face masks and practice social distancing in accordance with Covid-19 mandates. (Attendance is limited to 50 people)
