I just found out about Ethel passing. I had the pleasure of taking care of her Mom years ago and then I was her nurse. She had a heart of gold. Her German Chocolate Cake will go down as one of the best right here on earth. May God give her entire family the strength needed in the days to come. Take your rest Ethel, race well ran.

My connection to Mrs. Tucker is by way of her eldest son Lloyd. You can tell a lot about a person by how well their kids turned out. Using that metric and knowing Lloyd as well as I do, Mrs. Tucker had to have been one very kind and loving mother. Of the many wonderful memories Lloyd has of his mother he recently told me about how he use to take his mom clothes' shopping and in spite of her protests would buy her practically everything she touched. She also loved getting dressed up when Lloyd took her out to a fancy dinner. Lloyd has told me many times how blessed he was to have had such a wonderful mom. It's always sad when we lose a special loved one especially when we've been blessed with their presence for a long time. But it's also a time for celebration of a life well lived. Mrs. Tucker's loving influence will live on forever.

Mae, when I joined the family 32 years ago you welcomed me like a daughter. You were always so good to me and my boys. I will always remember you as kind, loving, full of laughter and a little mischief! I’m so glad Lloyd Allen inherited those traits from you so you will live on in him. You were the best mother-in-law anyone could have. You were so loved and will be so missed. Love, Barb

To my beautiful great-grandmother, I am so relieved that you are no longer in pain but my heart aches to see you. I wanted to come and see you but life always got in the way. There was always something happening and I won't lie to you, I feel so much regret. I hope you know that you are so loved and will forever be a shining light in all of our hearts. Thank you for those beautiful memories you gave us. When I found out your time was near, I wracked my brain trying to remember the specifics - how you sounded, what you looked like, what we did. It wasn't until you left us that they all came flooding back. I love you so much. We will take it from here <3 - Natti
