Esther Klassen

Esther Klassen, age 93, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Esther is survived by her loving sister, Antoinette Schafer; her 10 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; 12 great-great nieces and nephews; and 1 great-great-great nephew.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents: Anton and Frances Klassen (nee Fetsch); and brothers: Frank Klassen, Richard Klassen; nephews: Jeff and Joe Klassen; and great-nephew, SSG. Michael W. Schafer.

Esther worked as a secretary for many years and retired from Paul Huering Ford. She was a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 1:00 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Esther’s name to Echo Hospice or to St. Mary Catholic Church in Crown Point for a Mass to be held in Esther’s name.
