ELWOOD CANADY, age 80 of Crown Point, IN, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017.
Survived by two children: Cama (Marty) Wesley and Kelly (Julie) Canady; two grandchildren: Jason and Kelly Nicole Canady; loving companion of 26 years, Carolyn Davis. Preceded in death by his wife, Lana.
Mr. Canady was a member of First United Methodist Church of Crown Point. He was a graduate of Gary Edison High School, Class of 1953, and a graduate of Purdue Calumet with a degree in industrial education. Elwood was a member of Crown Point Masonic Lodge #157 and retired from Avery Dennison in 2008.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55), Crown Point on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be 11:00 am. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Rev. Tom Shanahan officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.
