Elisa P. Vonderhaar (nee Pichel), age 83, of Schererville, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.

Elisa is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Vonderhaar; children: Rick Vonderhaar, Michelle (Brian) Hahn; grandchildren: Cameron and Kyle Hahn; sisters: Carmen (Jim) Fauver and Velia (Ed) Caplinger; and many loving extended family members including brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished.

Elisa was preceded in death by her parents: Adolfo and Peregrina Pichel.

Elisa attended mass at St. Matthias Catholic Church. She loved reading and spending time with her friends and family. Above all Elisa loved her two grandsons dearly and cherished her time spent with them.
