ELEANOR MARIE FRANKOWSKI (nee Yankovich), age 92 of Crown Point, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
She is survived by three children: Susan (Wayne “Bitz”) Mack, Sheryl Frankowski, Scott (Jonell) Frankowski; six grandchildren: Tom (Kelly) Mack, Eric (Tiffany) Frankowski, Ryan and Lisa Frankowski; Nicole and Adam Frankowski; four great-grandchildren; Steven Mack, Pierce, Preston, and Parker Frankowski; sister, Irene (late Ray) Grabczak; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Nusia Lillian Peck; and the “luncheon ladies”. Preceded in death by husband, Stanley “Scoop”; son, Steven; and twin brother, Archie Jankowicz.
Eleanor was a devout Catholic and was a very kind and loving person to all. She was a member of PWA Group #815, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 207, and St. Anthony Hospital Auxiliary. Eleanor was a graduate of Emerson High School.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55) Crown Point on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. from Pruzin & Little Chapel and 10:00 a.m. from St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, with Rev. Pat Kalich officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Anthony Hospice.
