Edward Wayne Marshall , age 71, of Hebron, IN, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Valparaiso VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN He is survived by his wife Joann Marshall of 22 years Children: Kim Poston of Florida Diana Luttrell of Rensselaer Kelly Dearing of Cedar Lake Danny Charlene Marshall of Rensselaer Amber Marshall of Hebron 14 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren Two Brothers: Howard Juanita Marshall of Demotte Ronald Rita Marshall of Valparaiso He was preceded in Death by Parents: Edward & Bessie Marshall Brothers-Maurice & Dale Marshall Sister-Helen Marshall Step-Son-Robert Burkhalter Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Geisen Funeral Home 624 N. Main St. Hebron, IN. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Pastor Mark Daniels officiating. Interment will be at Hebron Cemetery in Hebron, IN. Friends may call at Geisen Funeral Home, Hebron on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Mr. Marshall was retired from LTV Steel with over 31 years of service. He also worked for the Hebron Marathon Gas Station for over 16 years. He was a United States Army Veteran. Wayne enjoyed stock car racing along with his son Danny

Uncle Wayne, You will always have a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathies to all who love you.

One of the things that I remember most about Uncle Wayne is the way he would get so tickled when he would tell a joke. He always had some joke to tell us whenever we saw him. His smile was contagious and was always so much fun to be around. Even though I have not seen much of him in the last several years since I moved to Colorado, I would always seem to run into him whenever I came to visit. I sure will miss that. Uncle Wayne, tell Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Maury that I said hi.

Wayne was very special to me. He was so much a part of my growing up. I'm thankful I had the opportunity to help take care of him over this past year. I will really miss him. My sympathy to Joann Amber, Diane, Danny, and all the family

Wayne was one of our first employees at the Hebron Marathon Station. He always greeted the customers with a smile or joked around with them. I always enjoyed our phone conversations or he would stop by to see us. He was a joy to have around. I'm glad we got the opportunity to have him working for us. He is one of a kind. He will be GREATLY missed and my prayers are with the family.

Our prayers are with the family. One of my best memories of Uncle Wayne is how he loved to joke around. He loved to scare us with fake snakes and dead real ones. He would coil up a snake and put it at the car door when My mom would drive up. He had such an ornry look on his face. He was very funny. Praise God he is home now and at peace.
