Ed was a wonderful grandfather. He will be missed by many. Im so happy my mother and I were able to spend Christmas dinner with him. He was always a loving and caring person. He loved hamburgers and chocolate milk shakes! :-) His favorite hobby was fishing. Every Sunday for years after church he would come to our house for Sunday dinner. He would always bring us in goodies from his van and bring his Collie dog Sandy to visit. Rest in Peace Grandfather! Love Always Your Grandaughter Jennifer

Betty Jennifer and Aaron! In the past 10 years going with all of you to visit with Ed was always heart-warming ! The day you took in special music for Ed so he could enjoy a Father and Daughter dance The pizza party and Aaron helping his great grandpa and Jen you got a sparkle in your eye when you saw him and his eyes sparkled back because you had a milkshake for him ! Good thoughts and Good memories !

I was about to leave a message to the family for ED but after reading how Linda and Cheryl seemed more concerned about the limo being cancelled cause they didnt want one of Eds daughter to ride in it I see this is not the place for that but just for a couple of hypocrites. Sorry Ed that such ppl would even dare to leave such comments on your obit may you rest in peace. SO SHAME ONE LINDA DALE AND CHERYL!!!!!

Ed was my grandfather. My memories of him are all good ones. He was always smiling as he pulled up our driveway as children. Every Sunday after church he would meet at our house for a nice Sunday dinner my mother would prepare. I love the image of him climbing out of his van and opening the back doors to let out his dog Sandi a collie I adored her too. It was just nice knowing every Sunday I would get to see grandpa..He will be truly missed.

Today we buried a hero a wise man from God who came to earth to bless others. Always caring for other people never worried about himself. He didnt mind fishing in the wilds of the unchartered land betewwen Canda and Minnesota with his boys. He farmed the earth and loved dirt in his fingernails. Snappy dresser yet a simple man. He had no need for a limousine after all. He rode to heaven on the wings of angels
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I met Ed only several times but I know that he was a wonderful example of Gods Love. Love means thinking of others first not last.Love is quick to help out not waiting to see what you can get.Love means do the best for others FIRST not yourself. Love is not jelous hateful nor does it allow gossip. Jesus took last place with in the company of thieves. Yet he was not evil.Be kind and not evil let others go before you. Evil does not build up but tears down even if it means giving up a limousine ride. SHAME.

I remember my grandpa coming over for Sunday dinner every Sunday. I usually got in trouble for farting at the table. The family reunions out at the pond were always a good time. In fact to this day the biggest bass I ever caught was with a Cane pole out at grandmas and grandpas pond. I will never forget when he went to Canada with me and my Boy Scout troop and how he tipped the canoe but it was my fault LOL. I had many good times at his house and usually ended up in trouble but it was always fun and memories that I will always cherish.
