EDWARD ED A. ROLEK age 76 of Miller formerly of South Holland passed away Sunday January 2 2011 He is survived by wife: Joan of 49 years 3 children: Laura (Rick) McCormick of Miller Linda (Jeffrey) Rafalski of Pennsylvania Robert (Heather) Rolek of Chicago four grandchildren: Ryan and Jillian Rafalski Dorothy and Vivian Rolek. Preceded in death by parents: Adam and Laura Rolek sister: Caroline Paterson. Mr. Rolek was a retired printer with the University of Chicago with 35 years of service and a U.S. Army veteran. Ed was a true family man and handyman who unselfishly devoted himself to his wife kids and grandchildren. Friends and Family may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 2700 Willowcreek Rd Portage from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 5 2011. Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. Cremation to follow.
