EDMOND DOLATOWSKI, age 94 of Merrillville, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Survived by son David (Brenda) Dolatowski of AZ; daughter Susan (Mark) Macnak of Schererville; three grandsons: Ryan, Jason, & Stephen Macnak; brother John (Josephine) Dolatowski of Merrillville; sisters Lillian (Ray) Karr of DeMotte and Genevieve (late Frank) Kusmierczyk of AZ; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Florence and brother Bill Dolatowski. Mr. Dolatowski was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church. He was a World War II Army veteran and member of American Legion Post #207 and Silver Bell Club, PNA Lodge #2365. Edmond was a graduate of Emerson High School and was a retired bricklayer from Gary Works, U.S. Steel with 45 years of service. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Friday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. with a Silver Bell service at 4:30 P.M., American Legion service at 4:15 P.M. and a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 11:00 A.M. from St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church (5920 Waite St., Merrillville) with Rev. Michael Maginot officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery.
