Dear Dave, Doug and Dan and family, John and I are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Unfortunately, we were out of town the day of her memorial service. Both of your folks were such special people and good friends of the Spencer family. Your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave, Doug & Dan, I was so sorry to read about your Mom's passing. There are so many memories of those past years when we were growing up together and how good, considerate and helpful your Mom and Dad were to us and everyone in the 'hood'. I extend my deepest sympathies to all of you and your families. Dennis

Dave, Doug and Dan, Sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I hold fond memories of the old neighborhood including recent 4th of July parade activities on your front lawn. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your families. Tom Liss
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

To the family of Edith Conquest: We received a note from Edith several weeks ago saying she was having tests and thought they would come out alright. Edith and Sarah had a correspondence going since she moved to Texas. As you know we have had a close friendship with the Conquest/Swanson family since we moved to Crown Point in 1941. We send our deep sympathy along with our prayers for you. It is interesting that Sarah passed away the same day as Edith and their obituaries were side by side in the newspaper. They are probably together catching up on news. Both are with God in a better place.

Dave, Doug, and Dan, and families, While I grew up next door to you guys, I remember your mom as a very classy lady who kept a beautiful home and yard. And sometimes you guys even gave Randy and me free popsicles! I can look back now and see that you had great parents. I wish your families the best.

Edith,,, Dear Dear Edith.. What a truely good hearted person. I have known Mrs. Conquest my whole life , as she worked with our family at Craigs Clothing. She and Les meant so much to my parents and Grandparents. They were more than friends. They were family. She was so kind in every way. We have shared many good times together at the store on various holidays and especially at Youche. I can only hope to be thought of the way I know she is thought of. A one of a kind lady. I miss her. May she rest in peace.

Grandma, You are missed! Our home is filled with little reminders of you-- Just today I sewed on a button using some thread from the sewing kit you gave me years ago. It brought a smile to my face and reminded me of the time you spent teaching me how to darn socks one hot Indiana summer! Thanks for the memories. Though you are gone, you are not forgotten. Rest. Love, Deborah for Mashoor and Aden

Mother was a wonderful mother/wife and a patriotic American and Crown Point Hoosier. Her family roots were deep and strong. She wanted the best for her family. She was an active and a staunch member of The First Presbyterian Church. Over the years Mother provided some valuable life lessons to me. She leaves some legacy habits that I will try to carry on. Mother was courageous to the end of her life. I miss her quiet love and support for me and my family. Mother, I loved you and will miss you. Dave
