Dolores Wendlinger, age 92, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Thomas) Haverstock, daughter-in-law, Jane Wendlinger; eight grandchildren: David (Michelle) Wendlinger, Katie (Kevin) Natt, Kristin (Mike) Plagge, Allison (Terry) Papp, Matt (Grace) Kellett, Michael (Ashley) Haverstock, Nate Haverstock, Jessica (Jordan) Jurasevich; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings: Francis Westmoreland and Marianne (Al) Kalis.

Preceded in death by husband, George Wendlinger; son, Mark Wendlinger; parents: John and Mary Michalik; siblings: Raymond Michalik, Gene Klocek and Barbara Jones.

Dolores was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Munster, IN. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and spoil them with treats and candy. Dolores also loved to cook, play games and Bingo.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave. Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 pm on Friday, August 11, 2023 DIRECTLY at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8501 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN 46321 with additional visitation starting at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crown Point, IN.
