Dear Billy, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I so enjoyed getting to know Debbie. She was essential in making Uncle Bob's get-together a special memory. And Debbie gave me one of her bracelets which i will always cherish. She was the type of person you only meet once and you were friends forever. I am very glad to have known her. I love you guys. Take care Billy. Patti

Cathy (Cashbaugh) Heneger left a message on October 21, 2010:
As kids, Debbie and I were the closest of cousins, born 4 months apart in l952. Our Moms (Maida and Eileen) were sisters. Our lives took us down separate paths. I have fond memories of our years together as kids in Michigan City, like days at the the beach, after stopping at A&W Rootbeer along the way. Like trick or treating for hours in her neighborhood every Halloween; like first learning to flirt with boys! She always had a heart of gold, loved animals, and taught me to not be so shy! It has been my loss not to have been able to spend adult time with her in years gone by. However, I will always treasure her 15+ page handwritten letters that took weeks to write! She had so much to share about her big loving family. I know she is in a sweet, peaceful and loving place now, she was a rare jewel, like the ones she combed the beach for. GOD REST HER SWEET SOUL. I loved and will miss you Debbie. My deepest sympathy goes out to Roger, all her children and grandchildren, and certainly Bill, the man she told me brought so much joy and happiness to her days and to her life. Celebrate her life, as she brought so much "life" to us all!
