Maggie (Gibbs, Barb's sister) Vassiliou left a message on December 16, 2022:
Oh Barb, Johnny and Dave....I loved him too. I'm sad and I'm sad for you and all of his family and friends. John was a man of his word, honest and hard working. He and I were the "drivers" on the family vacations I took with him & Barb and my other sister Alice and her husband Dean. I will miss him and I'm sorry Covid has kept me from visiting these last three years. But I'm glad to have called him brother-in-law. He will be so missed.
Jodi left a message on December 16, 2022:
John will be missed by many people. I for one will miss John for his sense of humor, his kindness, and his accepting love and friendship for all those that came into his pathway in his everyday life. John was a great example of how we are to treat one another. He did not stand alone in this area. His wife Barb is the most compassionate woman that I have had the privilege to have in my life. And for these reasons is why their marriage was so strong and fruitful, for so many years. May the Lord Bless their family and give them comfort through this journey and loss . We will rejoice when we see him again in heaven. Love and Prayers Jodi
