Daniel W. Ream, age 40 of Portage, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
He is survived by Loving Companion, Carie Rippe; two daughters, Mya and Cloey Ream; father, Ronald (Judy) Ream; two brothers, Terry Ream and Leroy Ream; two sisters, Debbie (John) Hendrickson and Annette (Kei) Lee; and many nieces and nephews; three stepsisters Jenny(Joe) Barron, Connie (Eddie) Tarkany, Kathy Buffington; one stepbrother Pat (Terri) Favuzzo. Preceded in death by mother, Gloria Ream (nee Torres); grandparents: Louis and Lucy Torres, Leroy Ream, and Lucille Bryant.
Dan the Man was born Christmas Day, December 25, 1976 in Valparaiso, Indiana and was a lifelong Portage resident. He was passionate about the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bulls, Miami Dolphins, and automobiles (including the Hellcat). Dan was an avid dart player and loved playing arcade games. His charm, kindness, and playful sense of humor will be remembered by the many hundreds of people that called him a friend.
