Daniel L. Wright, age 81, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Franciscan Health.

He was born July 22, 1938 in Michigan City to Harold B “Pinky” and Mildred Shawley-Wright who preceded him in death. Daniel was married June 14, 1958 to Dottie Morton who survives.

Daniel is also survived by his children: Daniel L. Wright Jr. of Pt. Charlotte, FL and Pamela Wright Pahs of Michigan City; grandchildren: Shannan Wright and Connor (Marissa) Pahs, Madison Wright and Lee Richardson; 12 great-grandchildren.

Daniel served his country as a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Elston High School class of 1956. He belonged to Lions Club and Midstates Jeepsters Association. Daniel built his own log cabin at the age of 70, 100 % handmade with the help of his grandchildren. Daniel was the owner/operator of Wright Electric Company.
