Daniel H. Patterson, age 70, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

Daniel is survived by his children: Kimberly Ritchie, Ronald (Alena) Merkel, Timothy (Mandy) Merkel and Elizabeth (Kelly) Wilson; grandchildren: Andrew (Lauri) Merkel, Nicholas (Ashleigh) Merkel, Bryan (Kori) Hamm, Erin Hamm, Adam Merkel, Evan Merkel, Laura (Javier) Chira, Audrey Wilson, Brycen Wilson and Danika Ritchie; great-grandchildren: Harrison Merkel, Theodore Merkel, Hayden Vetter, Ella Hamm, Olivia Rosenwinkel, Elijah Chira and Ensley Chira; and brother, Bruce (Kathy) Patterson.

Daniel was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Patterson; parents: Harry and Addie Patterson; and grandson, Nathaniel Merkel.

Daniel was a pastor for 40 years. He was a member of Southlake Fundamental Baptist Church. Daniel enjoyed reading and watching Bruce Lee movies.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 3:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:00 PM with Pastor Mark Promnitz officiating. Interment will be Private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Daniel’s name to Southlake Fundamental Baptist Church, 125 N. Court St., Crown Point, IN 46307 (219-662-1815).
