Charles W. Riggle, age 87, of Hebron, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021.

Charles is survived by his children: Anna Louise Santos (Ruben), Charles William Jr. (Donelle), Lester Earl (Shannon), Jennifer Lee (Eric) Whitson; grandchildren: Maximilian and Benjamin Santos, Cody, Abbey, Casey, and Sierra; great-grandchildren: Charles, Westley, Hunter, Tucker, Brady, Sophia, Azarelei; sister: Wynona Riggle of Montana; and cousin, Marlene.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Myrtle, and parents: William and Esther Riggle.

Charles was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from Arcelormittal after 35 years. Charles and his late wife Myrtle were members of the National Depression Glass Association for over 50 years. He and Myrtle were extensive travelers who enjoyed exploring new areas, always with an eye on seeking out depression glass. He loved spending time with his family especially.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM with Pastor Steve Buchelt officiating at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Charles’s name to the Humane Society.
