Carzhey Benton Maurice Bolton, age 52, of Merrillville, IN, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022.

Carzhey is survived by his parents: Warren E. and Othella M. Bolton; 2 brothers: Darnell (Tameka) Bolton, Warren (late Jocelyn) Bolton; his nieces and nephews: Marc, Ariana, Philip, David, Amadi; his grandmother, Cora Bolton; and his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Carzhey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Rose E. Knox and David Tucker; paternal grandfather, Garfield Bolton.

Carzhey enjoyed eating his favorite foods, drinking his favorite drinks, and would even steal yours. He enjoyed taking car rides as he looked out the windows, often times enjoying a pop drink. Carzhey liked watching Marvel superhero movies, family gatherings, holiday parties, and being comfortable. He understood things in life much more than he was given credit for and touching was his main form of communication. He had a loving heart and taught his brothers so much in life, especially compassion.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Geisen-Pruzin Funeral & Cremation Services, 6360 Broadway Ave., Merrillville, IN 46410 from 9:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Rev. Pat Gaza officiating.

Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
