My mama was a woman who loved her family fiercely and accepted each of us as we were. She ALWAYS found and brought out the good in people! She lite up the room with her bigger than life voice and laughter! The out pour of love and stories of all the lives she has touched over the last week has been a comfort I know God is sending to us! She is now out of pain and I know she is dancing and signing with the Lord! I will miss you more than you will ever know but will strive to be better mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend because I had you as my mother! You are such an inspiration to all who loved and adored you! Your daughter, Tiffany.

So sorry for your loss Bill & family. I enjoyed seeing Carol @ our TKE reunion and remembering the Parsons/AlphaGam days in the mid 60's. She had an infectious personality and a great memory for our nostalgic college years in Fairfield. She will be greatly misssed. Ike

It is with great sadness that I send condolences to the Adkins family. In recent years I had the pleasure of spending some time with Carol at a reunion of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority Sisters, Beta Zeta Chapter, Parsons College, Fairfield, IA. We met in Savanah, GA for a few days of fun and adventure. Carol was certainly a bright light, sharing her journey with cancer, sharing love of her family always with positivity and confidence in her love of life. I will never forget Carol. Lucia

Carol will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She could light up a room with her presence. Even though I only knew her for a short while she was a fighter. Her family was the center of her world especially her husband Bill. Now that the fight is over may you Rest In Peace. Until we meet again! ???

Friends since 7th grade. Carol was a beautiful light in my life and so many others. I treasured seeing her each time she came to Fairfield. We sang together in Madrigal and marched together in band. I witnessed her wedding to her beloved partner, Bill. Rest In Peace, dear friend. Keep the angel choir in tune and give a hug to Evans, Hunt, and Genk. You were a blessing in my life. Love you. Until we meet again at Jesus’ feet.
