Betty Maxine Bailey Goffe (nee McCorkel), age 97, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Carol Goffe; brother, Vern McCorkel; special grandson, David (Becky); sons: Leo, Charlie, and Eli; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Goffe Sr.; sons: Richard Jr. and Jeffrey; parents; sisters: Marion and Patricia; and brother, John.

Born in Hebron on February 27, 1925, to Flossie Bailey in the home of her grandma, Rosa Jane Patrick. Betty was a member of the Portage High School Class of 1942.
