Betty J. Slager (nee Voss), age 86, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Betty J. Slager (nee Voss), age 86, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.
Betty is survived by her children: Beth (Stephen) Figlewicz, Brian (Carol) Slager, Barbara (Dave) Johnson; grandchildren: Adam, Joshua, Matthew, Scott, Ami, Stephanie, Kyle and Luke; 16 great-grandchildren; and sister, Irma (Bob) Koornneef.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, H. Bernard Slager; sister, Agnes Nydam; and brothers: Niel (Jeff) Voss and Bob Voss.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 4:00 PM until the time of Funeral Service at 7:00 PM.
Betty will be laid to rest in Abraham Lincoln Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Betty’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
