Bertha “Jean/ Imogene” I Sandridge, age 84, of Merrillville, passed away January 23, 2021. Bertha was born in Princeton Alabama.
Bertha is survived by four sisters, two brothers, her partner John Sullivan, and four children: Debra Kerr, Duwayne Nelson, John Sandridge and daughter-in-law Shawn Sandridge all of Merrillville, Indiana and step-daughter Wanda Gamble of Big Springs, Texas. She has six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Bertha was a very kind giving loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her ashes will be spread with her father in Wynn, Arkansas at a later date. Celebration of life for family and friends will come between the spring/summer. Arrangements entrusted to Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service.
