I was friends with Bruce Wigley in the 70's in South Holland IL, and knew Mrs. Wigley very well. A very nice person and I'm sad to hear of her passing.

I remember Barbara and her brother Robert from Calumet City, Illinois. Our family moved from 93rd and Cottage in 1947. The Schrum Family was one of several truck farmers in the area at that time. I believe they ran a pickle factory off Wentworth Avenue and Route 6. Mrs Schrum was quite involved with Hoover School--that later became Hoover Schrum Grammar School. My sister Judy attended the same class as Robert. Hoover had 4 classrooms at that time and a stage room. Two grades per room and I. remember looking out the classroom window and seeing the Schrum Farmhouse North of the School across Route 6. Time changes everything and those whom you grew up with --you often wonder where they went and who they became. May the Good Lord Welcome You as Your family welcomed My Family to Calumet City.
