I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Martin was my second grade teacher at Miller a VERY long time ago, but I remember those days like it was yesterday! May your fond memories of her time with you comfort you and may her memory be eternal!
Stephanie Duncan-Caceres left a message on March 29, 2023:
I’m so sad to learn of Mrs. Martin’s passing. She always took the time to talk with me and share her wry sense of humor. I long admired her grace and elegance at every occasion, a bit of a rarity in our neck of the woods. There was never a doubt how intelligent and well read she was. I’ll be forever honored that she, Larry (and the Patzes), trekked to New York City for my wedding in 1994. May Mrs. Martin rest in peace and happiness knowing she lived a full life.
Mark Balazs left a message on March 29, 2023:
My deepest sympathies on your loss. Over the years, I have enjoyed seeing the pictures of her interacting with her grandchildren and children in Tom and Alison's Facebook posts. Mrs. Martin was kind, generous and supportive, and I will always have very fond memories of her. She was my second grade teacher and the mother of my best friend growing up. Rest in peace and thank you for making a positive childhood impact on me.

Barb was a "third" grandma to my girls, treating them as two of her own. Your kindness to us will be missed. Sending love to all the Martin family members, who I hope will find peace in your legacy and memories. Love Anna, Lili and Greta.

My memories of Barb were that she was one of the classiest women I had ever met. Devoted and supportive wife of Larry, an awesome mom besides being a stellar teacher. Losing people like her leaves such a hole that can never be filled.
