ANDREW BUTCHJ. SAJDA age 60 of Hobart passed away Saturday February 2 2008. Survived by wife of 37 years Josephine (Sposito) four children: Denise (Rod) Lone of Nappanee IN A.J. (fiance Ashley Marcello) Sajda Thomas Sajda and Joanna Sajda all of Hobart two grandsons Jake and Kaden Lone brother Dennis (Peggy) Sajda of Portage sister Cindy (Frank) Fritz of Hobart. Preceded in death by parents Andrew S. and Bette Sajda. Butch was a member of St. Bridget Church Hobart. He was a Roller at U. S. Steel Midwest Plant an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a graduate of Lew Wallace High School Class of 1965. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday February 12 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 a.m. from SS. Sajda Family Our lives crossed at St. Bridget School when I was the school secretary and the children were students. I want to express my deepest sympathy on the sudden death of Andy. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Andy will always be remembered for making my childhood memorable and complete. Butch Steve Bill and Lucky we were inseparable during those years! Andys legacy of a wonderful and caring husband father grandfather brother uncle friend and pal will forever be a part of our hearts and minds. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten! Ive had the pleasure of working with Andy for many years at the Midwest Plant and traveling with him years ago to Detroit with the 80 crew. He was one of the greatest guys to work with I have ever encountered. Always a good word even when he was under pressure or in adversity. May God rest his soul and comfort his family. Til we meet again...

Dear Jo and Family- When we heard of the tragic accident that took Andrew our first thought was that we wish we could run across the street and be there for you. To offer a hug a shoulder to cry on whatever was needed. Our time in Hobart was made special with neighbors like you. Andrew was always there with a kind word a smile or just a wave hello as he pulled out of the driveway. We will always remember him.
