AMELIA “MOLLIE” LEHOCKY (nee Odorizzi) age 94 of Louisville, KY; formerly of Hobart, IN, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014. Survived by two sons: George (Barbara) Lehocky of OH, Dr. Ronald (Margaret) Lehocky, M.D. of KY; daughter Susan Sylvester of KY; six grandchildren: Dr. G. James Lehocky, D.V.M., Dean Lehocky, Jennifer (Brad) Coovert, Megan (Jason) Nachazel, Daniel (Heather) Lehocky, Jeremy (Catherine) Sylvester; nine great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband George. Mollie was a graduate of Tolleston High School, Class of 1937. She worked as a secretary, clerk at the D.M.V., and served many hours as a community volunteer. She was a former member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Hobart. Amelia was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville, IN) on Sunday, January 19, 2004 from 2:00-6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Joseph Vamos officiating. There will be visitation Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. to time of service. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

She loved life. She loved people or well at least most of them. She loved Pap. She loved her kids. She loved the grandkids and they loved her. She loved clothes and everything she bought was, according to her, on sale. She loved having her picture taken and darned if she didn't always look gorgeous. She should have been a teacher as she had all the attributes that makes one a good teacher. I have kept this verse in mind for years and don't know why but now I do. It is perfect to honor Mollie, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Nona, Mother in Law and Friend. A pretty face gets old A nice body will change But a good woman will always be A good woman I will miss you Mollie but always remember you. With much love Nancy
