Allen K. Cooper age 62 of Crown Point, IN passed away Monday, July 12, 2004 at his home. He is survived by his wife Ida of 30 years. 2 Children: Janine Cooper Scott Cooper Both of Crown Point Mother: Lila Late George Cooper of Crown Point 1 Sister: Jacqulyn “Dee” Cooper Father-in-law: Christoph Virginia Persch of New Port Richey, FL Many Nieces and Nephews Life Long Companion Pet: Milwaukee Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Geisen Funeral Home, Crown Point with John P. Starr officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home109 N. East St. Crown Point on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Masonic Services at 7:30 PM Mr. Cooper was a retired lineman from N.I.P.S.C.O. with over 34 years of service. He was a member of local# 12775; member of the Crown Point Masonic Lake Lodge#157 F. & A.M. Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Orak Shrine. He was a Army Veteran. Memorials may be given to Shriners Children?s Hospital or the American Lung Association.

Alan Cooper was a dear friend of mine since I met him in April of 1971. He was my pole partner when we went to the NIPSCO line school. We worked together close to 20 years in the Gary district. Alan never worried about the small stuff in life and always had a way to use humor to face each day. I will miss him very much.
